Israel rejects Palestinian unity gov't

"Israel urged its Western allies to maintain an aid embargo imposed after Hamas won election in January 2006 and set up a government by itself."

I still can't figure out how the living fuck Israel gets away with this sort of shit. The Palestinian public democratically elects people of their own choosing rather than that of Israel's and thus loose their right to medicine, food, and everything else we have so generously allowed them to have. Hamas and Fatah's violent past is quite understandable to anyone who bothers to learn the history of this conflict. Maybe this country's history provides us with a deep-rooted bias when it comes to this subject. Our forefathers (except mine) risked there lives conducting preemptive attacks against those American Indian fundementalists who, just like contemporary Iran, would have launched terrorist attacks on Europe had they not sailed cross the Atlantic to kill them all.

A recent poll conducted in Israel showed that 70% of Jews thought Arabs were "unclean, uncivilized, and unintellegent." 63% thought Arabs were "subhuman". Around 49% wished all remaining non-Jews (including Christians) should be expelled and banned completely. A slightly lower number thought that Israel should take the rest of Palestinian land in addition. The same polled asked Palestinians the same questions and found the percentages to be much lower. The Palestinians are much more open to discussion and diplomacy, and the article above is yet another example of this. The Israelis don't want peace; that would require compromise and coexistence. The last thing they want is an independent, healthy, and strong Arab nation next door occupying all that lovely space. In fact, any Arab (or Muslim) state that can rival Israel's economic or military strength is a direct threat that must be prevented. And we are the thugs doing their dirty work. We would have to be completely stupid to attack Iran while occupying two different countries, especially when they pose no threat to US. Israel just doesn't like the possibility that Iran MIGHT have nukes sometime down the line, because that would be one Muslim country they couldn't nuke and go unscathed. Notice that none of the nations opposing Iran at the moment have any problem with Israeli's nuclear arsenal. Or the war crimes they commit. Or the frequent kidnappings of foreign nationals taken from foreign soil. Or the espionage conducted on their allies. Of course, anyone speaking out against Israel is automatically labeled a anti-Semite terror Nazi, and is either ignored or is abducted by Mossad and thrown in solitary confinement for 30 years.

2007......I never thought I'd live to see a future where Pam Grier's unedited breasts are repeatedly flaunted on Turner Classic Movies and The Brady Bunch Movie is featured on Bravo's primetime slot.

The End is Near.

08:43 pm: pulling a Laura

I demand that someone buy this for me.

Seeing this at auction reminds me of all the times I would drag Henry to the ghetto-esque Putt-Putt just to pump $10 in tokens into that game. I miss the good ol days.

04:54 am: Today I realized that virtually all the pages from my one remaining sketchbook have been ripped out (presumably by my brother) and taken to an unknown fate. It was the last book I had left, as the sketchbooks before it t met a similar fate years ago (my brother gave pages away, claiming it was his own).

Now, nothing remains of my art. It was the one positive and unique aspect of my past that I actually felt good about. Now its all gone.

It hasnt even hit me yet.

01:07 pm: Is anyone currently on Argent Dawn planning on transfering? I still have my 60 there, but I really can't play with that much lag. I don't know how likely a server split will be, but it makes sense to just choose a new server so people don't get all split up.

08:20 am: Well I started out down a dirty road
Started out all alone
And the sun went down as I crossed the hill
The town lit up, the world got still

Im learning to fly but I aint got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing

Well the good old days may not return
And the rocks might melt, and the sea may burn

Well some say life will beat you down
Break your heart, steal your crown
So I started out for God knows where
But I guess Ill know when I get there

Im learning to fly around the clouds

But what goes up must come down
